Praying for your trip and that you touch lives in Haiti. I was fortunate to go in the early beginnings of Healing Haiti with Jeff Gacek and his awesome wife, Alyn Shannon who's dreams she never got to see come to fruition, she left this earth too soon. I can't wait to see the wonderful buildings that Healing Haiti has completed. Jeff always told us to look at Haiti through 3rd world eyes, not from our 1st world eyes, I forgot about the comforts of home and just embraced the lovely children and soaked in all that was new around me. For me, I think that I came to believe that WE are the people that I feel sorry for, we have so many distractions, we get caught up in the "fluff" and "stuff" that doesn't matter. The Haitians only have God and a faith that rivals all of ours. God bless and keep you all on your trip! Please post pictures, I haven't seen any of the buildings completed.
